PTU CET 2013, ENTRANCE EXAM, DATE, SYLLABUS, PATTERN
Punjab has scrapped the state-level combined entrance test (CET) for admission to undergraduate engineering course. From the next academic session, the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) will be the criterion to enter the state colleges, said Suresh Kumar, principal secretary (technical education and industrial training)
Common Entrance Test for postgraduate courses (MBA, MCA), that test would continue, and would as usual be conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, or by Punjabi University, Patiala, as would be decided by the state government
The Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar scrapped the Combined Entrance Test ( CET-2013) for admission to 1st year of Engineering & Technology courses in the universities/Institutions affiliated to :
1. Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar , 2. Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar 3. Punjabi University, Patiala, 4. Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana and
2. Pharmacy in Colleges affiliated to PTU Jalandhar only.
